We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEND in a highly regarded and supportive primary school in Bristol. This is a full-time role starting in September, running for one academic year, offering invaluable classroom experience in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

This role is particularly well suited to candidates who have completed (or are completing) a degree in Education Studies, Psychology, Sociology, or a related subject, as well as those who are considering a future career in primary teaching, SEND, educational psychology, or pastoral support.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SEN team to support pupils with additional needs, help them access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop socially and emotionally. You will gain first-hand experience of classroom practice, behaviour support strategies, and inclusive teaching approaches within an Outstanding setting.

We are looking for enthusiastic, patient, and committed individuals who have a genuine interest in child development and inclusive education. Previous school-based experience is desirable but not essential – training and ongoing support will be provided.
