About you - 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Daventry, Northamptonshire
Provides consistent, tailored one-to-one support aligned with the pupil's EHCP and individual targets
Develops a trusting, positive relationship that helps the pupil feel safe, understood, and supported
Uses calm, patient, and predictable approaches to support emotional regulation and behaviour
Adapts learning activities to ensure accessibility, engagement, and progress
Implements specialist strategies (e.g. visual supports, sensory regulation, structured routines) effectively
Works closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to deliver targeted support
