Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Full-time – Temp to Perm

Salary: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of young learners? A vibrant and nurturing primary school in Aylesbury is seeking a motivated, empathetic, and forward-thinking 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to children in Year 2 with autism and communication challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver personalised 1:1 support tailored to individual EHCP targets

Utilise tools such as visual timetables, PECS, and sensory-based activities to enhance communication and engagement

Collaborate effectively with the class teacher, SENCO, and a wider multi-disciplinary team to drive progress

Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive social interaction through consistent, compassionate support

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or speech, language, and communication needs

Strong understanding of positive behaviour support and differentiated learning strategies

A calm, adaptable, and solution-focused mindset with a proactive approach to challenges

A genuine passion for inclusive education and empowering pupils to reach their full potential
