College Provision – London Borough of Greenwich

Immediate Start | Long-Term Contract until July 2026

Location: London Borough of Greenwich

Start Date: ASAP (from 02/02/2026)

End Date: 24/07/2026

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm

Daily Rate: £90 – £115 (depending on experience)

A reputable College Provision in the London Borough of Greenwich is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis. This is a full-time role supporting learners at Key Stage 5, running until July 2026.

The Role

As a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with post-16 learners across a range of courses including BTEC, T Levels, GCSEs and/or A Levels. You will provide tailored, individualised support to help students access the curriculum, develop independence, and achieve their academic potential.

Support will be delivered both 1:1 and in small group settings, within a classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide in-class support to KS5 learners across a variety of subjects

Offer targeted 1:1 and small group support

Encourage engagement, independence, and positive learning behaviours

Build strong, trusting relationships with learners

Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider support teams

Promote inclusion and support students with a range of additional learning needs
