Location: Slough

Salary: 90– 95 per day

Contract: Full–time Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm

Start Date: September 2026

Academics are working with a welcoming primary school in Slough that is looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 SEN Intervention Assistant for a full–time, long–term position starting in September 2026.

This rewarding role involves supporting a pupil with additional learning needs, providing tailored interventions that help them grow in confidence, develop key skills, and fully engage in school life. Your Role

As a 1:1 SEN Intervention Assistant, you'll work closely with an individual pupil, delivering personalised support throughout the school day. You'll collaborate with teachers and the school's SEN team to remove barriers to learning and help the child achieve both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver tailored 1:1 interventions to support a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN)Adapt classroom activities to suit the pupil's individual learning style and abilityEncourage independence, confidence, and active participation in lessonsSupport emotional wellbeing and promote positive behaviour strategiesMonitor progress and share observations with the class teacher and SENCOWork collaboratively with school staff and parents to provide consistent supportWe're Looking For Someone Who:
