About Us:
We are working with a wonderful primary school in Stratford. The school is looking for a 1:1 Reception TA to support pupils on a 1:1 basis for an ASAP start. Experience with Downs Syndrome is desirable but not essential. If you would like to work in a strong, happy, family atmosphere as a 1:1 Reception TA, then this is the school for you! As a 1:1 Reception TA, you will be required to provide both 1:1 and group support to children with varying SEN. The school strongly believes in preparing every child for their future.
Key Responsibilities:
Work as a 1:1 Reception TA
Supporting young children with SEN
Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Previous experience working in a Primary School
Understanding of supporting pupils within Early Years
Experience working with children with SEN
Prior experience with Downs Syndrome is desirable but not essential
