The Role - 1:1 Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a warm, reliable and experienced 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Hackney. This full-time, term-time only role involves supporting a child on a 1:1 basis in the Early Years Foundation Stage for half the day, while working as a general classroom TA in Reception during the morning session.

You will help the child engage with learning activities, follow routines and develop social interaction skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider team to ensure the child’s individual needs are met through tailored support, which may include visual aids, sensory strategies and simple communication tools.

This role would suit someone who is confident, consistent and caring, with previous experience supporting children with autism or developmental delays in an EYFS setting.
