MOOG Subsequent 37 - Analogue Duophonic Synth - w/ Decksaver - US Build - MINT

THE sound; just a huge, detailed, harmonically rich and infinitely mouldable sonic slab that cuts through and yet still sits in any mix.

Part of a studio downsize, this cherished beauty has been cared for like the prize that it is, and it remains immaculate, replete with the screen cover still in place. Comes from a pet/smoke/oily cooking free studio. Only selling as downsizing, literally :(

This is one of the US-built models, featuring the now-discontinued manual book and a large cheat sheet, as well as the nicer side wood, smoother expression wheels, and more solid pots. An old -school premium Moog.

Why has this beast been my fave analogue synth in that time? Well, sounds aside I'd choose these features:

- a real hands-on board for sound design, it's all just there within reach, and within seconds

- a fully editable sequencer

- properly musical arpeggiator

- a dual modulation bus system (meaning you have two dedicated control hubs for two separate modulation buses that can be pointed at almost anything on the synth...and controlled by everything from aftertouch to the wheels)

- variable shape oscillators...blending between them gets really, really textural

- oscillators that can overdrive themselves

- a separate overdrive/distortion circuit that sounds analogue and warm but still screams!

- a joy to play, built like a tank, but a refined one with buttered knobs :)

Has lived under a Decksaver its entire life, still has the screen protector on. This has been extremely well cared for and looks almost new.

++DECKSAVER = the pictured Decksaver is included in the price but I'm happy to remove it if you need a lower price ( RRP is around £55 but including it for £37.50), just let me know and we'll sort it out. I'd HIGHLY recommend it though, especially if you'd like the Sub shipped :) ++
