Suzuki SV650s (2000)

Description

Excellent condition. When I got it a year ago, the previous owner said that it had stood for a while (hence the low mileage). He had re-commissioned it; he had fitted a new chain, new brake pads, and new tyres (BT03). However, I wanted a professional second opinion on what he had done, so I put it in to a local well respected bike shop for a full service (I also believed that the choke was sticking, it was running a bit rich). I got a bill for £588.16; it turned out that the carbs had to be dismantled to remedy previous incorrect assembly. Never-the-less, I was happy with the outcome, because I was confident that I had a bike that would run for thousands more miles with no problems (I've done less than 3k)).
The first photo was taken when I bought it; it had a slight leak from the bottom rear corner of the petrol tank. The second photo was taken last week; unfortunately, the replacement tank that I got is a slightly different yellow.
It rides great; so light (180kg) and responsive ... and the V-twin is so torquey. It has a Scorpion end can, so it sounds nice too (it can also do about 60mpg). It has a full year's test.
No offers of less than the asking price considered unless you are standing in front of the bike. I live near Crook, but whoever comes to see it will have to show me photo ID before I open the garage door. Payment by bank transfer preferred, but if I will reluctantly accept payment in cash (but no Nigerian nine-pound notes) ...
