2009 Suzuki GSX1300RK9 Hayabusa – a well-used, well-loved example of one of motorcycling’s true icons.

The Hayabusa has earned rave reviews over the years for good reason. Yes, it delivers serious performance with around 194 bhp and 115 ft-lb of torque, but what really sets it apart is its versatility. It is fast, stable, comfortable over distance, and still one of the most striking motorcycles on the road.

First supplied in June 2009, this bike has had 6 former keepers. The last owner bought it in September 2013 when it had covered 13,000 miles and has clearly cared for it ever since. The service history is part documented, with the first 3 services completed by dealers, the last at 7,500 miles in October 2011. Since then, the previous owner has maintained the bike themselves, with some supporting receipts for oil and filters included. ( Please note it has recently been fitted with a pair of new tyres which still require scrubbing in).

As the photos show, it has picked up the usual signs of use you would expect from an honest motorcycle of this age, including the odd stone chip and mark, and there is a small dimple in the right silencer. None of this spoils the overall impression, and the bike still presents very well. It is a credit to the previous owner and comes fitted with some worthwhile extras, including a lowering dog bone kit (with the standard dog bones included if you would prefer to return it to standard height), Scorpion stainless silencers, Oxford heated grips, a tinted screen, and a tail pack.

It comes with One Key, the owner’s and service books, numerous receipts supporting the owner maintenance, previous MOTs, the V5 log book, and of course it is HPI clear. For extra peace of mind, we will service the bike ourselves before sale, supply it with a fresh 12-month MOT, and include our 3-month guarantee.
