This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Motorcycle Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2025 on Sunday the 9th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT. , 2008 was the first British Superbikes championship for newcomer Tom Sykes, racing for the Crescent Suzuki factory team,Finishing fourth overall with three outright wins and numerous podium finishes, the championship that year was won by Shane Byrne on a 1098R Ducati,This 2008 GSX-R1000 K8 BSB bike is presented in very original condition, still maintaining a lot of its original competition features,Early production example showing frame 00002,Stored for last couple of years having previously formed part of a private collection,Still maintains its Motec dash, race Showa suspension, Brembo brakes, magnesium cases and various carbon panels,Not used for a number of years so will require recommissioning before road use,Great display piece or fast track day bike,Not UK-registered,
