Description
X-Sail Land yacht.
Fantastic fun to sail, without getting soaked and/or blown out to sea! Ideal alternative to windsurfer/ dinghy/ kite board.
Comes with a mid sized (3.5m) sail which has been excellent for teaching my kids (9 & 11yrs) to sail in relatively light winds. Very quick and much easier, safer and fun than dinghy sailing/ windsurfing in the freezing waters and strong currents of the UK. Can move me (~ 6ft 80kg) along pretty quickly in stronger winds.
I've had it about 10 years since new. Need to sell as we're moving into a smaller flat and we just don't get enough space. Signs of age and use, but in otherwise good working condition.
Always rinsed with fresh water after each use. Sail is still crisp and always stored in our drying cupboard.
Comes with carry bags for both the buggy and sails/mast, helmet and original wheels which I replaced recently with slightly larger diameter ones for more speed.
Fits in the back of my car (Subaru Outback) and took it on Ryanair as a single item of sports equipment. Back wheels plug into the carry bag with everything else stored inside - making it easy to wheel to the beach.
Stainless steel frame, carbon fiber axels and mast.
Similar to Blokart land yachts and the like - see last photo of another secondhand one going for £3.4k.
