The Sony Automatic Stereo Turntable PS-LX46P is a servo controlled turntable with operating speeds of 33 rpm and 45 rpm. After playing a record the arm automatically lifts and returns to its rest position.

The receiver/stereo amplifier provides approximately 40 to 50 watts per channel RMS and has phono sockets for connecting a CD Player.

There is no remote control

The radio tuner has a memory facility providing the ability to store numerous preset radio stations of your choice. FM and AM/LW aerials are supplied for the radio tuner.

The 5 Band Stereo Graphic Equaliser can be switched on or off as you choose. When switched on it provides the facility to vary the frequencies in the following bands to enable you to adjust the sound to your personal taste. Bands 100Hz, 330Hz, 1kHz, 3.3kHz, 10kHz

The Stereo Double Cassette Deck has switches for Tape Selector (Type I or Type II ), Dubbing Speed ( High or Normal), Dolby NR ( On or Off). One of the cassette decks works better than the other.

Each of the Sony speaker cabinets contains 3 separate speakers – treble, mid-range, and bass
