AKG C414B-XLII "P48" large diaphragm condenser mic (rare early model)

Description

For sale is my fantastic AKG C414B-XLII P48 large diaphragm condenser mic.

** This is a rare early model C414B XL-II microphone featuring the original emblem before it was changed

Circuit Design: The P48 version's internal electronics were designed to draw the capsule's required polarization voltage directly from the 48V source, eliminating the need for an internal DC-DC converter. This design change resulted in lower self-noise and improved sensitivity compared to the non-P48 models.

Performance: By standardizing on the higher voltage, the microphone achieved better overall performance specifications, including lower noise floor and higher sensitivity.

The microphone has only been used in the studio and shows signs of use (on one side).
Although it is used, it is in perfect condition and I am selling it solely because I don't use it as much as it deserves.
