Wolverhampton Sunday League Football Team – Weekly Sessions Open to New Players
We’re a local Wolverhampton side playing in the Sunday league. We train and play regularly and are looking for committed players who want proper football, not just a kickabout.

We host weekly football sessions (midweek evenings) focused on fitness, shape, and match preparation, plus our Sunday games. All abilities are welcome as long as you’re reliable and up for it – we mix experience levels and just want people who turn up and put a shift in.

What to expect
• Organised sessions with a bit of structure (warm-up, drills, small-sided games)
• A mix of ages and abilities – some have played for years, others are getting back into it
• Social side after games and training – nothing over the top
• Clear communication about fixtures, training times, and kit
Dos
• Turn up on time and let us know if you can’t make it
• Bring boots, shin pads, and a water bottle
• Be ready to work hard and support the team
• Give the free trial session a proper go so we both know if it’s a fit
Don’ts
• Don’t join if you only want the occasional game and will disappear when it suits you
• Don’t bring attitude or argue with referees/teammates
• Don’t expect professional-level facilities – this is proper Sunday league football
• Don’t leave it until the last minute to confirm availability
