11-a-side game every Wednesday 8-10pm

Description

We're looking for new players to join our regular 11-a-side football game. We play every Wednesday from 8 PM to 10 PM at Bradford Academy on Teasdale Street (BD4 7QJ), on their 4G pitch (so wear moulded or artificial grass boots).

Who Plays & What to Expect

We've got players of all different abilities, aged from early 20s to late 40s. Some of us play for teams on the weekend, others are newer to the game, and everything in between. The standard is generally pretty good, but honestly, no matter your current ability, you'll fit right in. We just want a friendly and welcoming game for everyone, and no one's going to give you a hard time for being a bit rusty.

How We Play

Teams are split into bibs versus non-bibs, so you can wear any kit you like, except red, orange, or yellow, which will clash. Everyone takes a turn in goal for about 10 minutes, except the defenders. The games are competitive, but it's a supportive environment where we all encourage each other.

How to Join

If you're interested in playing, send us a message and I'll give you the organiser's mobile number. Games are organised by text. There's always a waiting list for spots, and once you get one, it's yours each week until you can't make it. If you miss a week, you'll go back on the waiting list for future games.
