Description
Lovely sounding Tannoy speakers from the 1980s. I am also selling the smaller Mercury M20 model from the same range.
The Saturn S30 is much rarer than the Mercury M30 and was introduced at the same in 1983. It is a front ported 2 way design, using an Audax HD100 fabric dome tweeter and 8 inch polyolefin mid/bass driver. The crossover components are high quality; all film capacitors and air cored inductors.
These build on the talents of the Mercury; warmth, clarity, transparency and just seem to do everything a little bit bigger and better with improved depth and dynamics.
The vinyl finish has a few little nicks on the extremities, but they are in good overall condition.
