Vintage KEF Chorale Bookshelf Speakers. Refurbished

Description

Wonderful sounding vintage KEF Speakers, refurbished, re-capped and in working perfectly.

The crossovers have had all their capacitors replaced with upgraded film capacitors and the improvement in sound is amazing; so much clearer, more transparent and detailed. These will put many modern designs to shame.

The cabinets are finished in real teak veneer and are in very good condition. The drivers are working perfectly.

Chorale (1970-79)
The Chorale paired a B200 with the established T27 tweeter in a 20 Litre closed box design, which became an instant success and KEF’s new best selling product. It combined an extended high frequency response with a natural, uncoloured midrange and a full round, bass - quiet and delicate or complex and heavy music being handled with equal ease. The success of the Chorale ensured that it remained in production until 1979.
