Description
High Quality British made bookshelf speakers, in real wood mahogany finish in excellent condition and full working order. I also have the earlier Richmond model for sale
This model was introduced in 1992, priced at £150 (rising to £189) a pair, and were recommended by Hifi Choice magazine at the time. Castle Acoustics were famed for the quality of their cabinetry and these are very well built.
They have the customary Castle sound: uncoloured, open, detailed and natural that suits particularly suits acoustic and vocal music. They are not booming party speakers. I can offer crossover upgrades to improve clarity and detail and can demo a pair of Richmonds that have had the upgrades.
They are in lovely original condition.
