Amazing handmade speakers crafted to order for the previous owner. I am the second owner I believe. Made by Audio Purity. They were a small specialist company that made stunning high ened speakers in very limited numbers, to order for their clients. In the end they went out of business due to extremely high quality, and actually undercharging (from what I've read). If you look around you'll see a pair come up for sale from time to time. Always lovely. Most people hold on to them though. Scanspeak and Seas drivers. 6.5 inch bass units with a sloping baffle design. Oak veneer cabinets. The drivers are absolutely perfect. The cabinets I’d say 9.5/10. Im only selling these as they don’t quite work in my room for reasons I can’t explain, and I'll probably use something smaller. I think many will know what I mean. I don’t have boxes for these so pick up is a must, or I can deliver within reason. A real bargain for anyone wanting something that will work well with good solid state amplification. So a little more background. Audo Purity was a specialist speaker maker. Mostly I believe they were made to order. So when I say 'hand made', I don't mean, in a garage, by an amateur, from a kit. Far from. These are probably superior to anything you'll find from a large manufacturer. They have a following amongst enthusiasts. These speakers are 95cm tall. 20cm wide and 30cm deep. The sloping design means they actually occupy a little more depth than 30cm. The plinth is 24cm x 32cm. These are just slightly larger than my proac D15's. Probably about the same as something like PMC FB1's. All in all very handsome things. Happy to deliver these (within reason) between south London and Brighton
