For sale is this pair of Kef E301 Satellite/Surround Speakers plus a E301C Centre Speaker.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ THE DESCRIPTION IN FULL BEFORE PURCHASE AS THERE ARE COSMETIC ISSUES.

Overall I would class these speakers as being in a fair to OK, used condition with quite a few marks, scuffs, scratches and signs of wear and use which are mostly to the cabinets. The pedestal stands also have marks and some fading and the metal also have a couple of dents and creases. The drivers and tweeters are all in a very good condition. The biggest issue is that each speaker has cracks, of varying degrees, to the rear of each speakers, where they are tightened around the pedestal stand. A couple of clearly been glued to help strengthen them.

Great sounding speakers, which you would expect from their very highly regarded Kef Egg range, even more so considering they are satellite speakers, which are all in full working order. Being the E301 they are the latest version of the egg speaker, and they come on their silver pedestal stands so they can be placed on any flat surface. Have a Google for full details and spec.

PLEASE NOTE - as per the description above, each speaker has cracks/splits to the rear where the pedestal stand attaches. These are where the allen bolt heads are, which are tightened and loosened to adjust the stand. I am unsure whether this was a design fault, damage caused through use, or overtightening. The result is, that whilst on the vertical position, they are structurally sound, very sturdy and don't drop on their own and are still easily adjusted to whatever angle is needed. I would NOT recommend that these are wall mounted as I feel the added stress could cause the cracks to worsen and fail. So these are sold to be use on their pedestal stands, on a flat surface only.

The speakers come as pictured, with their pedestal stands, nothing else is included.
