Excellent quality, super solid, traditional mountain bike.

A bicycle that is super comfortable, really sturdy and that can be used for commuting and leisure, on and off the roads.

It is an old school mountain bike so if you are looking for the latest tech, like carbon frame, electronic gears or hydraulic brakes this is really not for you! This bike comes with a solid and simple approach: rock solid frame, all mechanical, very reliable yet easy and cheap to fix if something goes wrong... unlike modern mountain bikes which are so delicate and expensive to repair. This beast tolerates plenty of abuse.

Being a proper TREK it is great quality all round. Super lightweight aluminium frame, front RST suspension, aluminium rims, Shimano shifting, 24 speed, powerful Promax V brakes, etc. Front tyre is a Maxxis and rear a Continental, both good stuff.

On the road, the suspension eats London bumps for breakfast, and the cycling position is quite upright and relaxed. You can use it as a daily city commuter with no problem, and during the weekend do some leisure rides around the park or canals. Of course it is not as fast or light as a road bike, but if you are not planning to go very far, this is great.

It has been serviced for the sale including new brake pads, new bearings in wheels and in headset, front wheel recently relaced, etc. Everything works and it is ready to ride away.

Whilst in great condition mechanic and cosmetically for a used bike, please note that it is not new so there are some imperfections like scratches, marks and other wear and tear related to age. Nothing major.

All in all, a hell of a bike for 150 quid. One of the best brands out there, simple and solid, yet great quality, with plenty of gears, excellent brakes and good mechanic condition.
