Healthcare Assistant

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Location: Lingfield

Our client is a leading provider of specialised complex care for children and young people, renowned for delivering high-quality, compassionate support. They are seeking dedicated and passionate healthcare assistants (HCAs), both male and female, who are committed to providing exceptional, person-centred care to children and young people with diverse complex care needs.

As a Healthcare Assistant with our client, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for their young clients. You will deliver personalised care, ensuring each child feels safe, supported, and valued.

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with complex care needs.A strong desire to support and empower young individuals in their daily lives.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues and healthcare professionals.A relevant qualification in health and social care would be advantageous but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on care and support tailored to the individual needs of each child.Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and social engagement.Monitor and record health and behaviour changes, reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.Develop meaningful relationships with clients and their families to encourage trust and collaboration.Promote independence and enhance the quality of life for each child in your care.
