About the Client: Rayan, 18, is studying for A-Levels and is bright, sociable, and humorous. He enjoys football, history, politics, gaming, and spending time with friends. Rayan has cerebral palsy, uses a cochlear implant, is a full-time wheelchair user, and requires assistance with all personal care and healthcare needs. His home is fully adapted with ceiling hoists. He communicates verbally and eats orally.

The Role at a Glance: This is primarily a waking night role providing repositioning, monitoring, and physical support, as Rayan experiences spasms and stiffness overnight. Shifts are always 2:1, with one carer based in a monitoring room and another in the bedroom. Some evenings begin earlier to support social outings such as the cinema or pub, promoting independence while ensuring safety.

This Job Would Suit: A confident, proactive female carer able to provide age-appropriate support and blend naturally into social settings. You should have strong experience in physical disability care, be practical and personable, and balance support with encouraging independence.

Why You’ll Love This Role: Rayan is engaging and great company. The rota offers excellent work–life balance, full training (including physiotherapy guidance), and the chance to be part of a small, supportive team making a real difference at an important life stage.

Recruitment Process: Managed by Snap Care Shortlist Service. Applications are reviewed against essential criteria before being shared with the client/case manager.

Please note: Unfortunately, we are unable to provide sponsorship for any vacancies. Where a specific gender is required, this is a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
