Description

SEN Support Worker – Fleet, GU51. A fantastic full-time opportunity for a *female SEN Support Worker to support Elsa, a bright, cheeky and fun-loving 7-year-old with Cerebral Palsy. Up to £19.20 gross per hour, with a minimum salary of £33,600+ per annum.

Nearest Station: Fleet

Salary/Wage: £17.20 weekdays | £19.20 weekends | £12.71 sleeping nights (gross) Minimum Salary: £33,600+ per annum

Driving: Yes – automatic WAV provided on duty

Essential: Strong SEN and childcare experience. Confident with manual handling and working in a family home. Full UK driving licence. Able to work long rota shifts and travel with the family *Female applicants only

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 38 hours per week (term time) | 48 hours per week (school holidays) Rota-based, including day, evening, and sleeping night shifts. Flexibility required.

Pets: Two friendly dogs

Accommodation: Ensuite bedroom while on duty

About Elsa: Elsa (7) is a lively, determined and adventurous little girl who loves theme parks, singing, and performing. She is pre-verbal and communicates using vocalisations, Makaton, and AAC. Elsa has Cerebral Palsy and uses a walker and powered wheelchair. She thrives with a supportive, fun team helping her reach her full potential.

The Role: You will provide 1:1 support as part of a small team delivering wraparound care, including:. Supporting daily routines, personal care, and mobility. Planning activities, play, and community outings. Encouraging independence and social development. Implementing therapy programmes. Supporting school routines and hobbies. Elsa sleeps well, so night shifts are typically calm. Her home is fully adapted, and all manual handling is 1:1.
