Hours per week:

Morning calls: 9.30am-10.30am - Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday Evening calls: 45 minutes in the evenings, 6 days per week - please apply with your availability.

Hourly pay rate:

Mornings: Mon- Fri @£15 per hour, Sat and Sun@ £17 per hour. Evenings: Mon-Fri @ £13.25 per 45 mins, Sat and Sun@ £14.75 per 45 mins.

I am a man in my 70s with a good sense of humour looking for some personal assistant to help support me with my personal care and some domestic tasks, in the mornings and/or evenings.

I have severe Osteoarthritis and Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR) and as a result, suffer from constant pain. I have good days, where there will be lots of talking and laughter and the occasional bad day, where I need someone empathetic to carry on quietly.

If you are a cheerful person with a positive outlook on life, this could be the role for you.

Duties include:

- Medication prompting/administering

- Personal grooming

- Moving and handling

- Other relevant duties as required

- Companionship

- Dressing / undressing

- Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:

- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality

- Reliable with good timekeeping

- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative

- Hygienic, tidy and well organised

- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties

- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

- Honest and cheerful

- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard

- Must be comfortable with pets

- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
