Hours per week: 4 hours on Wednesday and Fridays, 8 in total, times to be arranged.

Hourly pay rate: £15

I am looking for a personal assistant to help me maintain a clean and habitable home and to help me get out and about. I love gardening and flowers and have pet birds. I enjoy eating nice food also. This is a rewarding role for the right person.

Duties include:

- Other relevant duties as required

- Housekeeping

- Transportation

- Companionship

Domestic:

- To support and motivate me to clear items that are cluttering my home to enable repairs and for safety reasons.

- To help me clean and tidy my house and tidy up the garden.

Social:

- Accompany employer when accessing social and leisure activities

- Accompanying employer to doctors/hospital appointments when required

Candidate qualities:

- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality

- Able to tolerate the employer smoking in the workplace

- Reliable with good timekeeping

- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative

- Hygienic, tidy and well organised

- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties

- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

- Honest and cheerful

- Creative

- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard

- Must be comfortable with pets

- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

- Happy to work in a smoking environment

- Experience working with hoarders desirable

- Must be comfortable with pet birds
