We are looking for a friendly, patient and reliable personal assistant to assist our 20 year old son, who has moderate learning difficulties and social anxiety.

We need assistance on Thursdays, Fridays and possibly some weekends.

Duties will include providing him with support at home and with accessing the community.

Duties include:

- Eating and drinking assistance

- Other relevant duties as required

- Shopping

- Cooking

- Transportation

- Companionship

Candidate qualities:

- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality

- Reliable with good timekeeping

- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative

- Hygienic, tidy and well organised

- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

- Honest and cheerful

- Creative

- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
