I am a young woman looking for personal assistant so I can be more independent. I have Cerebral Palsy and would like to start doing more things myself. I know what I need but need some support with completing the tasks which is where your assistance would be valued.

Ideal candidates would be highly organised with a methodical approach, as a strict routine is important to me. An understanding of Cerebral Palsy would be an advantage but is not essential. There is also use of a hoist for which full training would be given. If you are able to drive my adapted van that would also be a bonus! (it is an automatic vehicle)

I am looking for bank staff to work ad hoc hours, this could range from shifts such as 2 hour tea or bed calls or an afternoon out.

Duties include:

Eating and drinking assistance
Other relevant duties as required
Cooking
Transportation
Companionship
Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:

Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good timekeeping
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
If you are able to drive my adapted van that would also be a bonus! (it is an automatic)
