The car runs very smoothly and has been used mainly for private hire work, so it has been regularly maintained and looked after.

Before the recent Middlesbrough Council private hire test and MOT, the car had a service where only one tyre needed changing, as the rest were already in good condition. All tyres are newish now.

The vehicle passed the professional council private hire inspection and MOT on the first attempt with no comments or advisories. This inspection was carried out by the council licensing authority, not just a normal garage test, which shows the car is mechanically sound.

For the last 10 years the car has been inspected and MOT tested by Middlesbrough Council every six months, as required for licensed private hire vehicles.

The car has never been involved in any accidents. There are only a few small scratches or minor marks here and there, which is normal for a working vehicle of this age.

It still has around 6 months of private hire licence remaining, which may be useful for someone working in private hire where the vehicle is still accepted.

Mileage is high (as expected for a motorway/private hire vehicle), but the engine and gearbox run very smoothly and reliably.

Very economical diesel – a full tank can drive more than 550 miles, making it ideal for long-distance driving or taxi work.
