Description
White wooden daybed with pull-out trundle guest bed and built-in shelving headboard.
This is the Happy Beds “Tyler” daybed, a solid and well-built piece of furniture that has mainly been used in our home as a spare guest bed, so overall it has seen relatively light use.
The trundle pulls out smoothly to create a second full single bed, making it perfect for sleepovers or guests. The headboard also features useful built-in shelving, ideal for books, toys, night lights or small items.
Both beds have wooden slatted bases for proper mattress support.
One of the wooden slats on the trundle base has broken (see photos). The bed has still been used without any problem, but the slat could easily be replaced with a standard pine bed slat if desired. Replacement slats are inexpensive and widely available from DIY stores. This has been reflected in the price.
There are also some small cosmetic marks and wear to the paintwork from normal use, all shown clearly in the photos.
Structurally the bed is solid and sturdy, with lots of life left in it.
Mattresses are NOT included in the sale.
