For sale Ercol Windsor Display Cabinet compromising a three door sideboard (model 3822 H) and glazed display top (model 3852).

The unit was manufactured in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and is now back in fashion (keenly collected and highly regarded). Ercol furniture is synonymous with good design, quality materials and craftsmanship and is built for longevity. This is a real eye catching piece of vintage retro style furniture which is still manufactured today and retail price of new unit is over £6000.

The unit is a lovely combination of three door sideboard / cupboard at the bottom and display cabinet with two glazed doors and height adjustable glass shelves at the top. Display top has glass doors complimented by ground glass ovals that mirror the oval recesses behind the handles on the wooden doors in the 3 door sideboard are mounted on the two end sections of the sideboard. The open middle section is perfect storage for those items that you want to access more often. Down lights maximise the display impact of this piece and each section features two adjustable glass shelves from maximum flexibility. Three cupboards with adjustable shelves provide extensive and flexible storage. A cutlery division in the left hand drawer makes for a perfectly organised space. Two further drawers provide added storage for smaller items. Wooden sculpted handles in oval recesses that echo the shape of the handles, on both the cupboard fronts and the drawers, are a signature of the Windsor range. Please note that the top and bottom can be separated for an easier transportation.

The unit is superbly crafted and made from solid ash with the exception of the nicely grained ash veneered back panels, and the dovetailed corners at the top and bottom of each section emphasize how well constructed this piece is, as do the full length hinges which are fitted to the doors.

The piece is in excellent (original) vintage condition with some very light signs of use (mainly superficial scratches to glass shelves). It is free of any damage, repairs or wear to joints. It has been cleaned and waxed. Original Ercol label is still attached.
