Workplace Insights Analyst

Description

Location: Stevenage (1-2 days per week onsite)

Duration: 12 month initial contract

Rate: 35ph UMB (Inside IR35)

Role details:

Our client, a prominent organisation within the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Workplace Insights Analyst to join their team on a contract basis in Stevenage. The role involves working closely with Facilities Management teams to transform workplace, operational and system data into actionable insights that drive continuous improvement and enhance overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Workplace Insight & Analytics

Analyse workplace, operational and system data to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesTransform complex datasets into clear, meaningful insightsDevelop dashboards and visualisations to support operational and strategic decision-makingMonitor KPIs and workplace performance measures

Continuous Improvement

Work with the System team to identify recurring themes and root causesProvide evidence to support improvement opportunitiesMeasure the effectiveness of workplace improvementsSupport benefits realisation activities

Systems & Data

Ensure the quality and integrity of workplace dataCollaborate with Systems colleagues to improve data captureDevelop reporting capabilities across FM SystemsIdentify opportunities to automate reporting

Stakeholder Engagement

Translate technical information into business insightsPresent findings to operational and senior FM leadershipSupport evidence-based decision-makingCollaborate across Operations, Projects, Strategy, Property, and Finance teams

Performance & Reporting

Maintain FM dashboardsProduce regular performance reportsDevelop new KPIsBenchmark workplace performance where appropriate

What we are looking for:

Experience in analysing complex datasetsProficiency in PowerBIAdvanced skills in ExcelStrong data visualisation abilitiesExperience in data quality managementStrong problem-solving abilitiesAptitude for identifying trends and patternsExperience in root cause analysisAbility to turn data into meaningful recommendationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to explain technical information simplyExperience in stakeholder engagementStrong presentation skills

Desirable skills:

Experience in Facilities ManagementExperience with IWMS (Planon desirable)Knowledge of SQLExperience in workplace analyticsUnderstanding of Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies
