Systems Modelling Engineer
6 month contract
Can be based in Stevenage or Bristol
Offering up to 85ph Inside IR35
Do you have experience with MATLAB and Simulink?
Do you have experience in algorithm design or validation?

Due to the nature of the work you will be involved in, SC will be required.
As the Systems Modelling Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
You will be involved in:
Modelling in MATLAB and Simulink using model-based design techniquesProducing parts of a complex model including modelling the target scenario, hardware, and processor algorithmsDevelop and implement algorithms within the modelProducing and verifying auto-code for the software algorithms from the modelCarrying out performance assessmentsValidating model components against real world data and writing up resultsProducing a simpler representation of the modelUpgrading legacy models to newer MATLAB/Simulink VectorsDocumenting the model changes and creating test vectors
Your skillset & experience:
MATLAB and Simulink experienceModelling for auto-codingAssessing suitability of algorithms in the modelValidating modelsAptitude for converting an algorithm into a Simulink modelFamiliarity with Radar and Control SystemsFamiliarity with Digital Signal ProcessingRF experienceExperience in CTechnical report writingModel delivery experience
