Description

TSS are looking for a Specialist SIA Store Detective in Oxford Street, London, where no two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security.

Position: Store Detective

Location: Oxford Street, London

Pay Rate: GBP17.00 per hour

Hours: Various

Shifts: Various

Applicants must hold an SIA Door Supervisor licence.

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of Store Detective experience.

Driving is an advantage as travel is required within a 20 mile radius.

Your Time at Work

As a Store Detective your duties include:

- To provide covert security, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff. Having the ability to be 'invisible' and blend in is crucial.

- You must have a clear understanding of ASCONE to ensure any and all stop are legal and safe.

- You must have a high attention to detail to spot tells and suspicious behavior that others might miss.

- Multi-Site Travel. Candidates must be willing and able to travel between Leicester and Coventry shops.

- Apprehension & Conflict Management: Ability to safely detain shoplifters and de-escalate volatile situations.

- To carry out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensure the safety of staff and visitors

- To lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site

- To observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems

- To carry out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible

- To ensure site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at local level are identified

- To understand and implement any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures

- To assist, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches

- To ensure that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition

- To conduct yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring full uniform is worn and SIA license is clearly displayed

Our Perfect Worker

Previous Store Detective experience or 3 years of Retail Security experience, plus a strong understanding of retail loss prevention is required.

Our perfect Store Detective will also need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service. You can also enjoy real career progression with a large international company - as the world's leading provider of security solutions, we offer loads of training and support. A lot of admin is digital and paperless, so you'll need to be tech-savvy enough to use our digital devices. A successful candidate will require to travel between Oxford Street and Stratford, thus it is essential that successful candidate will have means of transportation.

You'll be in safe hands from our induction and on-site training to regular reviews and welfare checks with our managers!
