Security Officer (4 On / 4 Off Days & Nights)

33,000 starting salary

Location: Near Oxford (20 minutes' drive)

Hours: 4 on / 4 off rotating days and nights (6:00am-6:00pm / 6:00pm-6:00am)

Duration: Permanent

Syntech Recruitment are proud to be supporting a world-renowned aerospace and defence manufacturer in their search for a Security Officer to join their professional onsite security team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Officer looking for a long-term career within a highly respected engineering business. You'll play a key role in protecting people, property and assets while working in a varied role combining gatehouse duties, site patrols, CCTV monitoring and emergency response.

Controlling pedestrian and vehicle access to site Checking identification, issuing visitor passes and escorting visitors where required Carrying out regular foot and vehicle patrols across the site and perimeter Monitoring CCTV, alarms and other security systems Responding to security incidents, emergencies and alarm activations Conducting vehicle searches in accordance with site procedures Producing accurate incident reports and daily security logs Managing onsite traffic movement and parking Acting as the first point of contact for employees, contractors and visitors What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Security Officer or within a similar security role Valid frontline SIA Licence (essential) Full clean UK driving licence Experience using CCTV and security monitoring systems Good IT skills including Microsoft Office Calm, professional approach when responding to incidents Able to work both day and night shifts on a rotating 4 on / 4 off pattern Willingness to undergo security clearance Application Process: We aim to respond to all applicants within 5 working days.
