Security Manager - Data Centre (Physical Security)Location: Farnborough, Hampshire (with occasional UK travel)Salary: GBPJob Type: Full-time, permanentOur client, a leading data centre provider, is seeking an experienced Security Manager to lead and enhance physical security operations across its high-assurance facilities.This is a key role responsible for delivering best-in-class protective security within environments supporting critical infrastructure and sensitive workloads, including public sector and regulated clients.Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of physical security strategy across data centre sitesApply defence-in-depth principles to protect people, assets and infrastructureConduct and manage security risk assessments, mitigation planning and ongoing threat analysisEnsure compliance with:HMG Security Policy Framework (SPF) and GovS 007NPSA guidanceLoss Prevention Standards (LPS)Oversee access control, CCTV, perimeter protection and intrusion detection systemsMaintain compliance with Facility Security Clearance (FSC) requirements where applicableProduce and maintain risk documentation, including government-aligned artefacts (such as F102 processes, where required)Act as the primary security advisor to senior stakeholders and clientsDeliver clear and concise briefings to senior leadership on risks, incidents and overall security postureSupport audits, accreditations and client assurance activitiesRequired Experience and Skills

Proven experience in a Security Manager or Physical Security leadership role within:Data centresCritical national infrastructureGovernment or defence environmentsStrong working knowledge of:HMG SPF and GovS 007Security risk management frameworksNPSA guidance and LPS standardsExperience working within regulated or high-security environmentsUnderstanding of Facility Security Clearance (FSC) requirementsDemonstrable experience applying defence-in-depth methodologiesExcellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to brief senior personnel confidentlyStrong analytical, reporting and documentation skillsMust be eligible for DV clearance. Paying up to GBP54,000 per annum. Farnborough, Hampshire based with occasional travel.
