Overview

We are seeking an experienced Programme Planner / Programme Controls professional to support complex engineering programmes within a fast-paced, high-tempo environment. This is a dynamic contract role requiring strong autonomy, senior stakeholder engagement, and hands-on delivery across planning, controls, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage programme schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and alignment with delivery objectives Maintain and manage the Integrated Management System (IMS) across complex engineering programmes Potentially run daily stand-ups and planning meetings with VP-level stakeholders Provide clear, concise programme reporting to senior leadership Support customer-facing activities where required Identify risks, dependencies, and critical path issues, driving mitigation actions Operate autonomously while integrating effectively with multi-disciplinary teams Required Experience & Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 Proven background working on complex engineering projects or programmes Experience in dynamic, high-tempo environments with minimal supervision Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership Solid understanding of programme controls, planning, and IMS environments Desirable Experience

Background in a smaller organisation, where roles were broad and responsibilities varied Previous customer-facing experience within project or programme delivery Contract Details

Contract length: Initial 6 months, with extension likely Engagement: Inside IR35 Rate: 550- 600 dependant on experience Location: 4 days onsite Security: Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (British-born requirement applies)
