Production Manager

Our client, a leading defence and security company, is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join their team in Fife. This is a permanent position, offering an opportunity to grow and contribute to an inclusive, high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Control Account Manager (CAM) for the Manufacturing functionControl of touch labour Hours Per Unit, and other manufacturing budgetsDevelopment and execution of production plans to achieve customer on-time deliveryManagement of high mix and frequently changing priorities using Lean Manufacturing conceptsEmployee Performance DevelopmentOwnership of all safety proceduresDriving process and quality improvements utilising RTX CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence)Attendance and support at dual sites in West Lothian and Fife.

Job Requirements:

Skills and Experience:

Experience in a Production Management, Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Operations related role

Qualified to Degree or Diploma level in a Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Operations related discipline

Desirable

Experience in an Electronics / Electro-mechanical manufacturing environmentExperience in management of budget versus bidHighly effective people management skillsHighly effective organisational and communication skillsA highly disciplined approach in the work environmentExperience in using SAP / shopfloor control systemsExperience in EVMS (Earned Value Management System)
