As the Operations Centre Analyst, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

You will be involved in:

Work closely with team members to support daily operations and tasksHelp identify, prioritize, and respond to incidents and issuesUse our service management tools to log and update incidents, ensuring information is accurate throughout the processMonitor servers and systems to spot and respond to any issues, using our event management toolsAssist specialist teams with resolving technical problemsFollow set processes and guidelines to fix incidents and problemsProvide updates on ongoing incidents, keeping everyone informedContribute to updating knowledge articles, helping improve the service desk's efficiencyHelp generate reports using data from our service management systemSupport software rebuilds or deployments following system failuresHelp with software configuration and deployment tasksAssist the Senior Operations Engineer with various tasks, ensuring processes are followed and incidents are handled effectivelyWork on improving service quality by reviewing incidents and making suggestions for improvements

Your skillset may include:

Experience in customer-facing roles, ideally in technical support or service desk environmentsDemonstrate a proactive approach to challenges and can adapt quickly to new situations and technologiesEnthusiasm to learn and grow within the IT field, with a willingness to take on new responsibilities and develop new skillsAbility to identify simple ways to improve current processes and a willingness to suggest improvementsStrong attention to detail with a growing ability to analyse and solve technical issuesComfortable learning new systems, applications, and tools
