Warehouse Operative

Portsmouth Full-time 24,111.36 per annum

36 hours per week Monday-Thursday, 06:30-16:00

About the Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key part in the smooth running of our production and dispatch processes. Your responsibilities will include:

Picking and locating materials and supplies listed on production ordersLoading and unloading pallets and cartons from vehiclesEnsuring compliance with packing, materials handling, safety, and equipment proceduresLabelling, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipmentWorking individually or as part of a team to meet daily targetsRotating across different workstations as requiredMaintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspaceCarrying out additional duties as assigned

Skills & Experience Needed

Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environmentStrong organisational skills and excellent attention to detailAbility to read and interpret information accuratelyComfortable handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlinesGood time management skillsKnowledge of inventory controlAbility to lift heavy materialsBasic computer literacyForklift experience is desirable (training can be provided)

What We Offer

24,111.36 per annum36-hour working week (Monday-Thursday, 06:30-16:00)180 hours annual leave (including up to 27 hours reserved for Christmas shutdown)30-minute unpaid lunch breakFull training and support provided
