Description
Our client, a leading firm in the manufacturing and engineering sector, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a contract role.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and developing tooling and fixtures using HyperMILL CAD/CAM packagesProgramming, setting up, and operating multiaxis CNC machines, Ensuring the precision and accuracy of tooling for various manufacturing projectsCollaborating with engineering and production teams to optimise tooling designs and processesConducting troubleshooting and maintenance of tooling and CNC machineryProviding technical support and training to colleagues as requiredMaintaining documentation and records of tooling designs and modificationsAdhering to health and safety standards and quality control procedures
Job Requirements:
Experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of HyperMILL CAD/CAM packagesExperience in multiaxis CNC operationExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work effectively in a team and independentlyStrong communication and organisational skillsRelevant engineering degree or equivalent experience
