Location: HMP Woodhill

Pay: 14.00 per hour + 33 days holiday accrual

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

Assignment length: Long-term temporary role

Join the team at HMP Bullingdon as a Lead Prison Security Escort, where you'll supervise a team of escorts and play a vital role in maintaining site safety and security. This is a key position for someone with strong leadership and coordination skills.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Supervising and organising a team of prison security escorts

Managing daily schedules and ensuring all tasks are covered

Acting as the first point of contact for the team

Handling any escalated issues efficiently

Escorting and supervising contractors on site

Logging and monitoring tools brought onto site

Communicating with staff and contractors via radio

Following all health and safety procedures

Conducting interviews and site tours for potential new staff

Organising inductions and training new starters

The successful Lead Prison Security Escort will have:

Previous experience working within the prison service

Proven management or supervisory experience

Strong leadership and organisational abilities

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

A proactive and safety-first approach

Due to the nature of the role, all applicants will be subject to standard Security Vetting including reference and police checks. UK residency of 3+ years is required.
