Integration Engineer

Description

Our client BAE Systems is currently seeking an Integration Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is based at the MISC Facility, Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth. This position involves hybrid arrangements, requiring you to be fully on-site. The duration of the contract is 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the UK MOD test and integration facilityTesting new pieces of equipment to ensure functionalityMaintaining the facility to ensure it is operationalOverseeing GFE and servers owned by the MODInstalling firewalls and modifying networksManaging cabling requirementsApplying patches and updates Monitoring server parametrics, including heat outputRecalculating room changes based on parametric dataMonitoring equipment, logging data, and analysing trends and patterns

Job Requirements:

Experience in systems integrationKnowledge of software integrationAbility to maintain and manage a secure facilityProficiency in installing firewalls and modifying networksStrong analytical skills for monitoring, logging data, and identifying trends
