Description
Our client BAE Systems, a leading entity in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis, based in Samlesbury. This role is pivotal to the Air Business Unit and requires attendance on site three days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Working on the F35 projectCollaborating within a team that includes both permanent and contract staffManaging electrical installation tasks, excluding circuitsFocusing on harnesses and 3D harness workUtilising CATIA V5 and Teamcentre softwareContribution to the checking process in due courseSupporting ongoing projects with significant workloads
Job Requirements:
BAE-Electrical designer skillsExperience within the aerospaceProficiency in CATIA V5 Strong understanding of electrical installations and 3D harness workFlexibility to work on site in Samlesbury for three days a week
