Description

What does the PIP Disability Assessor role involve?

The PIP Disability Assessor role will involve you carrying out 3 to 4 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face–to–face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.

What is on offer?

– Excellent starting salary at GBP45,000pa, salary increase to GBP46,000pa at 6 months and a further salary increase to GBP47,000pa at 12 months

– Monday to Friday working hours

– Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available)

– Hybrid/home working available
