Our client is seeking skilled Aircraft Technicians to join their established aviation engineering team at Royal Navy Air Station Culdrose, one of the UK's busiest and most operationally significant military airfields. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates transitioning from the Armed Forces or those bringing relevant civilian rotary-wing experience.

You'll play a key role in maintaining Merlin helicopters, ensuring aircraft availability, safety, and operational readiness in a highly regulated environment.

The Role

As an Aircraft Technician, you will:

Carry out aircraft maintenance and off-aircraft support activitiesWork as an Aircraft Engineering Fitter across operational support contractsEnsure all tasks meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirementsIdentify and escalate risks, quality issues, and customer concernsComplete technical documentation and administrative duties accuratelyAttend training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:

A minimum of 3 years' experience in an airworthiness environmentMerlin helicopter experience or strong rotary-wing aircraft backgroundExperience working with Merlin aircraft systems and support equipmentKnowledge of Lean Operating Procedures, Naval Air Publications, and CIETPFamiliarity with engineering and asset management systemsA strong commitment to safety, quality, COSHH, and tool control procedures What's on Offer
