Temporary Accommodation Officer, Greater Manchester Pay rate to GBP25.39 per hour Contract role, Local Government Housing We are recruiting for an experienced Temporary Accommodation Officer in Greater Manchester This is a contract role, and you will need to have experience in a similar role in a Local Authority setting To help the TA leased Team with joint visits and inspections. Complete sign-ups, On-line Housing Benefit claims & on-line Council Tax Support claims. To attend meetings with other agencies and stakeholders. Contact HOST clients regarding queries with rent arrears and repairs. Contact landlords regarding repairs. To contact HOST clients and stakeholders by phone & email regarding other queries Previous experience working within a housing, tenancy, resettlement or support related service Experience of supporting vulnerable people and enabling such to move towards independent living Experience of conducting interviews with customers including carrying out home visits, telephone contact, and letter writing, ensuring appropriate tailor-made solutions are offered in the best interest of the customer in accordance with legislation Please get in touch for more information.
