Support Officer

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Support Officer to join our Traffic Manager team within the Highways and Transport Group. You will support the Traffic Manager Compliance Officers in monitoring, reporting, and developing the Streetworks services provided by our Service Provider.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Compliance Officers to monitor the performance of the streetworks permit service, ensuring efficient and effective delivery in accordance with applicable legislation.

Conduct daily monitoring of the service provider's performance in issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) related to streetworks.

Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.

Work with team members to identify and implement service process improvements.

Provide research and support in developing a potential Lane Rental Scheme application by the Authority.

Qualifications and Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Knowledge of applicable legislation related to streetworks and permit schemes is a plus.

Flexibility to assist other Team Managers within the Group as required.
