Location: TamworthSalary: Up to GBP35,000 (negotiable)Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

We're working with a well-established and growing organisation operating in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. The business prides itself on efficient supply chain coordination, accurate stock management, and strong customer relationships, with a real focus on delivering a reliable, high-quality service from order through to delivery.
They are now looking to appoint a Supply Chain Administrator / Commercial Operations Administrator to join the team in a pivotal, hands-on role. This position sits at the centre of the supply chain function, supporting the smooth flow of stock, orders, and documentation while working closely with commercial and operational teams.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a varied, end-to-end role covering supply chain administration, stock control, logistics coordination, and supporting invoicing and commercial processes.
Supply Chain & Commercial Administration
Preparing and managing customer orders, contracts, and associated documentationEnsuring accurate data flow between commercial, stock, and logistics functionsMaintaining well-organised and up-to-date administrative recordsStock Control & Reporting
Inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate stock data within internal systemsMonitoring stock levels to support availability and operational planningInvestigating discrepancies and supporting regular stock reconciliations and auditsProducing stock and movement reports to support supply chain visibilityInvoicing & Credit Control Support
Raising invoices accurately in line with orders, deliveries, and contractsEnsuring invoicing reflects stock movements and dispatch recordsMonitoring outstanding payments and following up with customersDispatch & Logistics Coordination
Preparing dispatch documentation including delivery notes and packing listsCoordinating transport bookings and delivery schedulesTracking shipments, updating stakeholders, and resolving delays or issuesCustomer & Internal Liaison
Acting as a key point of contact for order, delivery, and stock-related queriesProviding customers with updates on order status and deliveriesWorking closely with internal teams to resolve supply chain or operational issuesWhat We're Looking For
Essential
Proven experience in a supply chain, logistics, operations, stock control, or administrative roleStrong organisational skills with excellent attention to detailConfident using Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelAble to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy, operational environmentDesirable
Experience using ERP or stock management systemsHands-on exposure to logistics, dispatch, or supply chain coordinationBackground in a commercial, operations-led, or product-focused environmentThe Person
Highly organised and process-drivenProactive and comfortable working with autonomyDetail-focused, with a strong understanding of stock and order flowAdaptable and reliable in a fast-moving supply chain environmentWhat's on Offer
